Dozens of civilians waving Iraq’s flag overwhelmed the fortified zone Saturday after a call for “peaceful” demonstrations” by Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, Al Arabiya reported. The Green Zone, a common name for the International Zone of Baghdad, is a 4-square-mile area where government and embassy buildings, including the U.S. Embassy, are located.

Protestors, who were not searched upon entering, reportedly brought down concrete blast walls surrounding the zone using cables, Al Jazeera reported.  more

  1. If they can do it, why the hell can’t we?

In reality we can. The reason we won’t is because we haven’t suffered enough yet, and by the time we do it’ll be too expensive to fight.

If Trump doesn’t get elected President, I’d like to see him run for governor of California.

Ponder that thought for a minute.
