President Trump recently tweeted claiming that former President Obama wiretapped him during his campaign. One can only imagine how nuts the media would have gone if the roles had been reversed: President Trump wiretapping either Obama or the Clintons, though his DOJ could have authority to do just that given the expansive leaks of intelligence information by Obama and Clinton supporters the last few months. Heck, he could wiretap the media at this point, legally and legitimately, as the sources of these unlawful leaks, for which Obama himself set precedent. Do liberals understand what Pandora’s Box Obama opened up by Obama using the powers of the NSA, CIA and FBI to spy on his political opponents? Even Nixon never did that.
If the stories are correct, Obama or his officials might even face prosecution. But, we are still early in all of this and there are a lot of rumors flying around so the key is if the reports are accurate. We just don’t know at this time. The stories currently are three-fold: first, that Obama’s team tried to get a warrant from a regular, Article III federal court on Trump, and was told no by someone along the way (maybe the FBI), as the evidence was that weak or non-existent; second, Obama’s team then tried to circumvent the federal judiciary’s independent role by trying to mislabel the issue one of “foreign agents,” and tried to obtain a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act “courts”, and were again turned down, when the court saw Trump named (an extremely rare act of FISA court refusal of the government, suggesting the evidence was truly non-existent against Trump); and so, third, Obama circumvented both the regular command of the FBI and the regularly appointed federal courts, by placing the entire case as a FISA case (and apparently under Sally Yates at DOJ) as a “foreign” case, and then omitted Trump’s name from a surveillance warrant submitted to the FISA court, which the FISA court unwittingly granted, which Obama then misused to spy on Trump and many connected to Trump. Are these allegations true? We don’t know yet, but if any part of them are than Obama and/or his officials could face serious trouble.

Prosecuting Obama on this charge is like sending Al Capone to prison for tax evasion but I’ll take it!
It concerns me tha, as I look through the news today about this latest Obama scandal, the only two Republican lawmakers I have seen quoted are Lindsey Graham and Ben Sasse. Why are the nevertrumpers getting out front on this so quickly? Is the MSM going to them to get the GOP response it wants? Do the nevertrumpers know something about the wiretaps that we, and patriotic GOP congressmen, don’ yet know? A helluva lot is going to happen in the next week. That’s the only thing I know for sure.
Obama and his minions had to try, try again until they understood the judge’s order that the request be worded so the judge could approve it. Otherwise, the intent was the same. And since we all know Progressive intent in non-existent, nothing will come of this, save the MSM get another thing to bash Trump about.
And that half black African Muslim Mau Mau crud said, with a straight face, there were no major scandals during his administration! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha and ha! No just the biggest scandal ever!
Obama would then have illegally transferred useful info obtained from the Trump wiretaps to the Clinton campaign to help Hilary.
That breaks a number of Federal laws.

Excellent justification to seize the computers/phones/records of all Obama/Clinton staff, including ValJar, Podesta, etc.
Recognize that Trump going public with this now means that he has the evidence to use against Obama. Trump would not have gone public until he knew he had an open and shut case.

This is probably true. Just a suggestion that Republican had done this to Clinton or Obama would have truly started a fire storm in the media and probably brought “progressives” out on the street starting fires and breaking windows. I hope Trump can get to the bottom of this since the press will not.
I just want this thing to get to the point where the WaPo is printing articles about why the brilliant defense strategy of ValJar living with Obama may yet save them both from conviction.

If MKart is caught out selling clothing lines made by child brides, then manufacturing Popular Propaganda™ Outrage™ targeting the brand’s spokesmodel not only does not affect the manufacture, sale, and profit stream of the deplorable totems, but is already built into the business model. That’s why spokesmodels are paid. Paying the professionally aggrieved to grieve over Obama throws good (well, fiat Good™) money after bad. But rounding up every person who touched the paperwork, even the copier guy who just cleared a paper jam (of course, skipping the one who refilled the toner — we’re executing justice, not a political purge) and interring them at Sunny Guantanamo, clears some dust from the view of what needs to be done next. If the judge who signed off on the order isn’t strapped in tight enough, and happens to fall out midway, well — sometimes established procedure doesn’t always yield optimal results.
This puts Loretta Lynch squarely in the crosshairs. It also explains why she’s saying they need blood in the streets.

That was a very good story that explained the issue in easily understood terms. If a Special Prosecutor is appointed by the Assistant Head of Justice a close look needs to be taken at whoever it is to ensure, beyond a shadow of a doubt impartiality and a respects for the rule of law. I think conservatives have ben fooled a little too often by a liberal clad in conservatives clothing. Remember Obama’s speeches during the nomination fight and the 2007 election? He sure sounded like a centre positioned politician.
In any event if there is an investigation it doesn’t sound as if there is a lot of crap to go through as from the read it seems all the evidence is there and by virtue of the process to get wiretaps been well documented along with the leaks resulting from it. Obama may not have ordered it but I’d bet cash money he was informed and did nothing, perhaps even encouraged them. There has to be some serious jail time in the event this results in both prosecutions and convictions.
