As a lifelong Democrat, I found the book a bit wordy at times, but trust me when I say that it is worth the effort to get through it. The book captures over a century’s worth of Democratic logic and reasoning. It will surely put all of your racist, xenophobic, sexist, two-gender-believing conservative “friends” to shame.

I’ve often wondered how to explain the benefits of liberalism to my children. This book answers those questions with a simple solution. My 2 year old has now found her favorite book to scribble in. And in doing so she may have just penned the next great piece of government welfare legislation for the Democratic party. This is the true circle of life.

As a liberal, I found that, as an almost illiterate graduate from one of America’s finest universities, I had no difficulty whatsoever grasping the fundamentals in this, the finest political book in a generation. As I turned from page-to-page, chapter-to-chapter, I was enthralled, enraptured, and could not tear myself away, as each new concept, each new and exciting revelation gave me more and more insight into the liberal mind and what motivates each of us to continue our spiritual growth.

Forgive me, I admit I used to be a deplorable republican – that is, before I found this masterpiece. Two words: simply captivating. I started the first chapter and before I knew it I had finished the whole book in one sitting. Before reading what will soon be considered Knowles’ opus I thought I knew everything about voting democrat. Turns out I was drastically overthinking it. Knowles helps you understand how simple democratic policies are. I am so relieved to know now I can join the masses in believing everything I hear in the media to be what’s best for our country. Life has become so much simpler since deciding to let others think for me. I can’t thank you enough Knowles. I’ve always wanted to say this… #Impeach!

This book makes one of the most compelling cases for voting Democrat that I’ve ever come across. Knowles takes you deep inside the brain of a modern day liberal with an innovative but accurate assessment of these intellectuals. The author brilliantly chauffeurs the reader on a tour through every aspect of the liberal mind including a picturesque description of the amount of pure logic they use to come to any conclusion. Before reading this book I would have never considered voting Democrat, and after reading this book I still won’t be voting Democrat but I sure understand where their supporters are coming from a lot better.

Knowles completely hit it out of the park with this one. My conservative friends kept stumping me with their ridiculous arguments and words I didn’t even understand. (Sorry I can’t understand your crazy fascist lingo. I was busy studying the 86 different genders in college).
Not any more. Thanks to this book, I’m now a political wiz!
Reasons To Vote For Democrats is a well thought out and heavily researched scholarly work that will surely be cited for years to come.
I almost gave this book four stars because the chapter on economics was somewhat over-detailed. But I can overlook it for such a excellent piece.
