A father was shot and killed in front of his wife and 10-year-old daughter after being carjacked because the killer didn’t know how to use a manual transmission, police said.
It happened just before midnight near Richcrest Dr. and Greenbriar Park.
Pedro Aguilar, 47, was in his car on the street in front of an apartment complex when two men in their late teens to early 20’s approached him to carjack him, police said.
They weren’t able to get the car into drive because it was a manual transmission, not an automatic, and shot the man in anger, police said.
The victim died at the scene.
The two men fled the scene.
The perpetrators were described as blond haired, blue-eyed, well-spoken white kids, wearing nice fitting jeans and polo shirts.
Of course I am kidding. No description was necessary because we all know what they looked like.

we need to start demonstrating again manual transmissions, aka manny trannies, these things need to be outlawed and not available to be in the hands of the general public. we need to warn the children to be safe when around the instruments death. we need to hold all automobile manufacturers accountable for the existence of the death traps. we need george soros and hillary clinton to wage war against these horrible contraptions of death.

On the lighter side. Twenty some years ago it was pretty sweet to know my wife wouldn’t drive my car any where, and before so doing decide to throw my stuff in the garage, readjust the mirrors & the seat. She doesn’t know how to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission.

Being old school, my car and pickup both have manual trannies, because the initial purchase price is cheaper, repair cost are less, better gas mileage and when you want to stretch out a gear you can. If someone wants to steal my ride, things wouldn’t progress far enough for the thief to figure out he couldn’t drive it as I do have an automatic of the 45 caliber persuasion for just such an occasion.
