  1. My neck of the woods. I think this region got 31 inches as the official total. Supposed to be the most ever for this area in a 24 hour window. That video is pretty cool, fun tune too.

Thank God my neighbor has a snow blower and loves to use it! I did a lot of shoveling regardless, and it is not as fun as it was when I was in better shape. 🙂 We got two nice bottles of wine to thank him with.

  2. I stuck a stick in the lawn. It varied from “about” 2 1/2″ to 4″ per hour for a total of “about” 18 inches of the shit. (That would make a good Common Core math question, no? How many hours did it snow?) Anyway, next time I’ll get a more accurate stick.

  3. The last bigger earthquake (little over a year ago) dislodged my deck a bit, so I didn’t do any snow stuff on it this year (getting it fixed). Plus I’m borderline tired of winter this go round and periodically consider Florida. But I remember the intense heat, bugs the size of small dogs and feeling like the heat miser guy sucked the life out of me. If they could cool the place down a tad, I might go for it.

Other than that I normally bitch and complain when we don’t get enough snow–which we finally did this year after two winters of barely a fluff.
