Likewise Lead Salad, my sincerest condolences. Watched my mom (only in her 50’s) pass from metastasized lung cancer back in 1985. Smoking did her in. I fully understand where you’re coming from.

To those who have known loss there are not words enough to convey a shared sorrow or love hearts ache,or set what is wrong right,but this:Death is for the living. The Dead know not and their suffering has ended. How we deal with it is what matters!

@ Larry. The song is for a friend I (NM) lost yesterday. It’s a song to which I often turn. It’s hard to explain but listening to Tom Jones sing anything at all makes me glad to be alive. Gary Morris is the only other singer who comes close.
