  1. This is at the very heart of the con job that is Obamacare. It dumped layer after layer of taxes on us in order to prop up a mess of a so-called “healthcare law.” Without all that money being extracted from everyone, Obamacare cannot survive.

Like I said in the earlier thread, it’s like diffusing an intricate bomb. You have to make sure you cut the right wires in the right sequence or BOOM! The damn thing blows up in your face.

  2. I am thrilled that it has gone this far. Any idea on whether the Senate will try to make changes?

What I really want to know is how soon I can replace my ‘Bronze’ plan with something more affordable. Any idea on what sort of products the insurers can provide under this?

  3. LCD,

I’m about to pay my monthly of 612 bucks for the pleasure of getting 1 visit a year and an 8000 deductible.
I don’t see a dime of “insurance” (less one visit and 1 blood work and 1 colonoscopy) until I spend 17,000 in a year.

This is the cheapest plan available.

  4. Wow FUR. We’ve been really blessed. We hung onto our cooperate plan even though we severely downsized. Last night I posted we’ve had that plan for 12 years. I checked with the wife, it’s closer to 20. I seldom go to the doctor, but yesterday I required some leak stoppage stichen up. $20.00 copay. We’ve got a damn good Agent/Broker.

  5. Whatever passes, I hope Trump creates an executive order that forces every one of these governmental fucktards to have to participate in it 100%.

Then they’d start to get serious about repealing this crap.

  6. Bill, actually that was an attempt to point out the value of a good broker, like Steven Tucker. If you think those guys aren’t valuable now, wait until we start shopping across state lines. Any idiot that’s posted get rid of brokers, I want to deal direct, lives in a double wide.

  7. I noticed that a lot of my lib friends on Facebook who take Scripture and pervert it to match their progressive views are suddenly health care experts today.

  8. @Jerry Yup. Good lord one act of Congress and FB is unreadable again. AARP is actively recruiting members and claims there is an “age” tax in the new bill.

  9. This Obozo turd

-Abolishes the Obamacare medical device tax. This is a $20 billion tax cut.

also caused the cost of veterinary care to go up since many ‘medical devices’ used for humans//subhuman leftards are used for animals.

Example – an IV bag of Lactated Ringers used subcutaneously on cats with chronic renal failure cost me $3.25 pre-Obutthole care tax. The vet sold it to me at his cost. After Obarry Hussein’s Inane and Insane Act passed the vet’s cost increased to $15.00. Doc called his supplier to ask WTF? and was told ‘ha ha Afforadable Health Care Act.’

The cost for surgical and other supplies added $75 to $100 to each spay/neuter for the ferals I was rounding up.

  10. Much too much cheering yesterday for something that must next go under scrutiny of the Senate. As POTUS often says, “We’ll see what happens.”

  11. Tsumami, after a 429 to 0 vote they will now all be under the same rule as all of us, no special plans for them.
You can bet they heard form a lot of people about that crap move they pulled under obamacare.

  12. “Abolishes the Obamacare Employer Mandate Tax. Together with repeal of the Individual Mandate Tax repeal this is a $270 billion tax cut.”
I had a great Cadillac plan before this crap, the company kicked the legs out from under retired employees.
Got on the wife’s gubberment plan, became moot when I turned 65.
Eff O’Bajacare. The productive pay for the useless.
    “That’s not right.’-Kevin Meaney

  13. I wasn’t on board for this defanged Obmacare monster legistlation, but I’ve got to admit it’s a start and effective only if a stake is eventually driven through the Obamacare monster’s rotten beating heart – U.S. government controlled healthcere. Otherwise, I fear we are stuck with government heathcare from now on. President Trump just won’t let go of his belief coverage for exist health conditions is a good thing.
