In a new episode of TLC’s Who Do You Think You Are, Chelsea Handler discovers exactly what role her grandfather, Karl Stoecker, played in World War 2, and the history of her family.

Quivering and shaking after being told the news, Handler traces his path from Nazi soldier to American immigrant through documents and interviews with sources familiar with her family’s history.

‘My German grandma definitely spoke about her life during the war way more than my grandfather did,‘ Handler says. ‘He never spoke about it.’

That was probably for good reason, but when all is said and done, Handler may now be less willing to label everybody who disagrees with her a ‘Nazi.’

    I doubt that. Tried to watch her show years ago, when it was new. I’d heard she was funny. It was unwatchable. I don’t think she’ll change.

  3. I quickly perused the link and didn’t see where the bitch tried to justify her Grandfathers actions by saying “He was a very strong individual”. What the hell is that suppose to mean? I’d say she done.

    You were not going to oppose them without consequences, but they didn’t force you to become a Nazi. You had to join of your own volition. Think about it. That would make an army of subversives out to undermine Hitler.

    My Mother was German and lived in Berlin during WWII as a teenager. AND A JEW. Mom and Dad are a WWII love story. The family did not play along and also hid their Jewishness. They knew the score. It was very much like today with all the violence the left is doing. You keep your head down and stay out of trouble if you can.

    Grandpa’s limousine service was completely confiscated and he was sent to prison for not voluntarily handing them over. But since he never let on he was Jewish, he was out in 3 years.

    I got to hear what it was really like during that time and no, every German was NOT a Nazi. Not at all. Most were just citizens being swept along by the Nationalism whether they liked it or not.

    Nazis were a faction of the population. Not a totality.

    Vanquish the idea that ALL Germans were Nazis. Absolutely not true.

    She should be stripped of all her money and property and it should be given to her victims. She has continued to perpetuate the victimization of todays innocents by parlaying the stolen wealth of their ancestors and she owes reparations.

    She is evil. This is intergenerational NAZIism that she is practicing. She continues to create new victims of her own holocaust each day. She would not have the advantages ahe has today if not for her NAZI lineage. She needs to hurry to the Wolfs Lair.

  21. Totally agree with Dadof4’s comments. Many people joined the Party, not in solidarity with Nazi thinking, but just to get along, so that their property would not be vandalized by various hooligans or outright stolen for the Nazi treasury.

    The lesson from history is that it takes just a small percentage of criminally-intent individuals to totally overrun the culture and the government. If we Conservatives just keep our head down, to tend to our own business and hoping that it will all just go away, it can happen again.

    If businesses had a BLM sign in the window, would that protect them from the thuggish mobs?

  24. My uncle fought in WW2 for the Germans. He wasn’t a Nazi. He was a soldier. None of my family were Nazis. But in Germany under Hitler you were required to have a framed pictore of the Führer is your home plus a copy of “Mein Kampf.” And your children were required to join Hitler Youth whether you wanted them to or not.

    I have never felt the need to horrified and ashamed over this. Not every German was a Nazi. But Germans knew the fastest way to get yourself and your family in mortal danger was to … what’s the word? #Resist.

    I guess that’s one more way Trump is nothing like Hitler.

    Watching his nightly hit job on Trump, I have no doubt that if CBS asked Colbert to kill someone, his first thoughts would be how he could get away with it and not that it is a sin. These people are rabid varmints.
