Antifa Declared Domestic Terrorist Organization By Homeland Security

It seems like Homeland Security has been monitoring the activities of antifa for quite awhile now and has been sending warnings out to law enforcement for well over a year about violent reactionaries.

So what does that make the mayors and city officials who enable, and stand down against, these street thugs?

  1. It seems there has to be a given number of incidents reported and papers sufficiently shuffled before any bureaucrat is allowed to take action. Perhaps there is also a number of statues that have to be destroyed/ disfigured before rushing to judgement.

  2. If DHS has declared them a Terrorist organization then I would think that there should be no hesitation to round up anybody in a mask at one of these events and jail them.
There is no gray area anymore. You are either with them or against them. It is pretty obvious for everyone to see that democRATs are supporting and enabling terrorism!

  3. So what? Apparently Homeland Security has already been monitering them for over a year, determined they are extremely well organized and ruthless, warned city mayors and police chiefs which has accomplished….. nothing. What makes anyone think that they’ll see any change now? If at the next rally there is a huge roundup of these people and they are charged with offenses related to terrorism, they are identified to the public and actually been made to serve real time I might change my mind but with mayors like the cowards in Berkely or Charlotte I thinks it’s unlikely there will be a real change.

  4. So what does that make the mayors and city officials who enable, and stand down against, these street thugs?

Last time I checked, supporting any gang on the terra list was a fed crime. A bunch of people have been tried and convicted and are now serving hard time. There’s no reason aside from, “See here, old boy, it simply isn’t done,” that supporting pols and bureaucrats shouldn’t suffer the same fate.

  5. There have been laid down some really bad precedents: Occupy, in which thousands of people were allowed to squat on public property without lawful permission for months, and “Black Lives Matter”, in which thousands of people were allowed to loot, burn, injure and also occupy the public places and streets unlawfully.

Now there is the latest iteration, “anti-fa”. And they’ve been allowed to protest, prey upon lawful protestors, injure them, and burn and wreck private and public property.

In terms of money costs, quite literally, all of it spent on law enforcement, courts, jails, etc. has been a complete waste, having achieved nothing of lasting results. The police in these scenarios look like fools playing dress up in all their militarized uniforms. Monitors, apparently at drill practice.

Normal Americans have been tacitly asked to put up with all this for too long and we’re at the breaking point.

  6. so does that mean that “if I see something I can say something” and the cops will take care of it? or should I just take matters into my own hands and pray I get an understanding jury.

  7. Just the phrase, so I don’t want the poster to take it personally:

“Normal Americans have been tacitly asked to put up with all this for too long and weā€™re at the breaking point.”

Loyal Americans are the most resilient people on Earth! They’ve spent an entire century wobbling on one side or the other of “the breaking point.” And, yet, have never been pushed far enough to put their shoes on and gather round their lamp posts. A mighty strong people, they are.
