AMAZON PRIMED

The Sun

Jihadi bomb kit like one used for Manchester Arena terror attack bought on Amazon for £95 – without proper security checks.

Amazon has been labelled “the terrorist’s best friend” after selling all the parts required to build a deadly nail bomb — without proper security checks.

The ingredients, which could make an IED like the one that killed 22 people at the Manchester Arena, were purchased by The Sun in a single order for £95.

Amazon did nothing to halt the purchase or alert officials.

Tory MP Alec Shelbrooke said: “It shows once again that internet firms aren’t playing by the rules. I would go as far as to say that Amazon is aiding and abetting terrorism.”

The Sun has decided not to detail the components for the “Mother of Satan”-style IED in full.

Similar bombs, with a TATP explosive favoured by ISIS, were used in attacks at Parsons Green Tube station and the Manchester Arena.

Yet Amazon did nothing to alert authorities or halt our transaction.

Former Military Intelligence explosives expert Major Chris Hunter said: “The fact that The Sun has managed to buy all of this in one go is truly terrifying.

  1. Not sure how to feel about this. Common household cleaning items can be used to create deadly chemical hazards.

Pretty soon they will be telling us what we cannot purchase depending on government criteria – which I’m sure will be fair to conservatives.

  2. Not sure I blame amazon for this as they probably don’t know the recipe or components for an IED. I have many of those items around the house. Hydrogen Peroxide for cleaning wounds. Nails. Nuts, bolts and washers. Pressure cooker.
But I only use those things for their intended purposes.

Home Depot and CVS could also be held liable using that standard.

That’s shiny object journalism. It takes evil mudslime minds with bad intent to assemble these innocuous items just right.

Oklahoma City bombing was not Ryder rental trucks fault.

  3. The story title says “kit.”

The article mentions ingredients sold separately.

It appears that Amazon is being critized because they did not check the items in the Sun’s order and think, “Ah-ha! Bombmaker.”

  4. It would be a simple algorithm to do a check, items purchased separately but going to the same address or items purchased together. Flagged for an ATFE visit, with a dog, you know how they hate dogs.
Before 9/11, maybe not, now, I for one am astounded it doesn’t.

  5. Sorry, but no, it’s not Amazon, it’s ISLAM that’s the problem. If Amazon started reporting suspicious orders, the towel heads would just get their buddies to place multiple small orders to avoid detection.

Don’t blame Amazon for the problems caused by Muslims.

  6. Some stores pay attention to combinations of items sold. If you don’t believe me, just watch the checker’s reaction when you go through the supermarket express lane with just a jar of Vaseline and a cucumber.

(And no, I haven’t tried it. But I will hide and watch while you do.)

    🙂
