Nice as always Ms. C.
Love it!
Just saw Shamu (Jehmu Greene) the Grinning Nazi on the news and had to turn it off. This – THIS – is a welcome Sunday Morning!
Thanks, Claudia!
What is the little creature on the pumpkin with the white toes? Adorable!
@Miss Conduct
That is a baby opussum.
That is the ONLY cute opossum picture I have ever seen.
That’s a possum. I need to get a camera because Thursday after taking a nap at the Natl. Bison range just outside Dixon, Mt. and stopping at the outhouse to take a pee there was one of the largest bull elk with a massive rack of horns I have ever seen about 100 ft. from me grazing on the grass contentedly with not a care in the world. My oldest daughter when I told her this may be getting me a digital camera for Christmas so I can post pictures of wildlife sightings like this and etc.
Thanks, Claudia, for my Sunday pick me up!
Nice pictures for the season. Thank you Claudia! That is a sturdy mushroom the squirrel sits on!
And the baby opossum says what ALL opossum say:
“Duhhhhh.”
Is the possum’s name Pogo?
The beautiful fall colors are a wonderful backdrop for the critters. Thanks Claudia! And may you, and all at IOTW enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving.
A joyful Thanksgiving to everyone!
If that deer turns sideways, it’s a goner. This weekend of course, in WI.
Love all those fall colors. So rich looking.
Thanks Claudia. My dog Sarah’s getting old now, maybe 13 or so. I got her from a rescue when she was 8. For the first few years I got her, leaves were her favourite toy. She loved bounding through any pile she could find or would burrow in to one to ambush me. She still likes the autumn but more to lie in the sun and get scratched. She like snow as well but not quite as much.
Hedgehogs.
I never really gave them much thought until reading about them in “The Once and Future King” by TH White. The humble Hedgehog appears also in “The Book of Merlin.”
These remarkable works explore such themes as human frailties, inherited sin, the Matter of Britain, Right vs Might, the rise of Fascism, the nature of war and many others.
Thought-provoking and insightful, and well worth rereading.
Thanks Claudia! And Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
