This conversation came up a couple of years ago during a niece’s birthday party. Somehow during the conversation, she announced that I used to play with dolls. Confused, I started to question her on it. She was talking about my G.I.Joes. Guess she was right.
Back in the 80’s or 90’s, 60 Minutes did a report on a school in Boston (naturally) that refused to force kids into gender norm toys. Boys were encouraged to play with dolls and girls with cars etc. Net result: The boys made a catapult to launch Barbie’s car across the room.
Their genius conclusion was boys will be boys and girls will be girls.

30 years ago as a new mother I bought into toy “neutrality”. I didn’t buy my son toy guns (even though as a girl I loved playing with cap guns.)
That is, until one day I watched my 2 year old pick up a stick and go “pow, pow”.
My oldest daughter and her husband try so hard to raise their children “gender neutral “ but the kids are having none of it. At least I give them credit for letting them be. The girls are sooooo girly and the boy is all boy.
When I was young, I wanted my cousin’s Barbie doll. But only so I could run over it with my remote controlled replica M 60 tank.

Even a girl I know was rough with a doll when we were both about eight or so. She held a tall doll I had by the legs and slammed its head repeatedly on the ground as she shouted, “You bastard! You bastard!” My mother was more weirded out by her words than the hurling of the doll against the ground, and said, “This is why we don’t have television.”
I keep up with a leftard who is a radical feminist / former “journalist”. The typical “gender is just a social construct”, science denying, Betty Friedan loving, hate-my-hometown now I live in NY and San Fran type.
Well, the biological clock started ticking and she was able to find a beta male feminist who could quit playing with his bleep-bleep-bloop machines long enough to impregnate.
Luckily, they had a child with female reproductive organs. They gave it a female’s name and dress it in female clothes. They give it “girl’s toys”. You know, and kale, and brie and shit to eat.
I want, more than anything, to stop this child abuse. Raising a girl as a girl. This is an outrage that they are influencing their child this way.
Recently, she lamented that she did not have a child with male reproductive organs and I quote “It’s a shame I didn’t have a son. I’d be so good at teaching him not to rape. ABCs, how to wipe, don’t rape people.”
Being raised by people like this is the definition of child abuse. What kind of serial killer do you think you’d be raising by telling a toddler that they are bad and rape people because they are a boy.
