I did some battling on FB today and the first argument I run into is “They shoot much faster than other full semi auto guns”. No, they only fire once when you squeeze the trigger, so how fast can you move your trigger finger. Next “Well the bullet is faster”. So I ask “which round? You can chamber them in a variety of rounds”. Their answer “What’s a round”. Next argument, “You can’t hunt with them so you don’t need one”. My reply, “The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with us patriots defending ourselves from the likes of you people when you get brave enough, or a Tyrannical Government. The Ar-15 is a modular weapon. You can swap calibers as you desire by simply pinning a different upper on the weapon. Very cool for hunting”. No comment after that.
