I received my dad’s American flag at his memorial service at the Eastern Wash. Veterans Cemetery a couple of weeks ago on 4-13. My dad was an Air Force veteran between World War 2 and Korea and was in Berlin at the time of The Berlin Airlift in 1948. I am proud to be the one who was given the honor to receive his flag, I’m also the oldest and the only veteran among my 3 brothers. Thanks dad, you did good, I’m proud of you!
