  1. Karma for Kelloggs. Its CEO went out of his way to criticize Trump after winning the election back in 2016.

Liberal CEOs are really good at alienating half of their customers. As much as I like Raison Bran and some of their other cereals, I haven’t touched any of it since 2016.

  2. Cheers to all who paid extra for the “name brand”, in this case the noble Kelloogg of Battle Creek. They did not readily reveal WHERE this ‘third party manufacturer’ is located. Any guesses? From the distribution list, I’m guessing your good old American breakfast cereal originated in Guatemala, the country whose citizens are fleeing like rats off a sinking ship. Are foreign countries under FDA or CDC jurisdiction?!
    Good Morning !

“Kellogg launched an investigation with the third-party manufacturer who produces Honey Smacks immediately after being contacted by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding reported illnesses.”

  3. Kellogg’s has been on my ‘do not buy list’ since they pulled their ads from Breitbart and gave their not aligned with our values statement a few years ago.

  4. Don’t have anything to do with kellogg’s since they trashed Trump and Breitbart.

This is one of those cereals that if you eat the box with whole milk, it is more nutritional than eating the cereal itself with skim milk. Plenty of sugar though.

  5. The UPI article I read had NO MENTION of what brand of cereal was recalled. They helpfully suggested checking out Kellogg’s website for more info. Oh yeah, and that was filled with pop-ups for coupons and freebies for your email address. No”Breaking News” on the splash page. So I had to do a site search for Salmonella Recall, and found out it was Sugar [Honey] Smacks. Do I even dare guess where the “Third Party Producer” is located? Do they even have to follow FDA guidelines for food shipped to the US? And mostly, how in the heck do you get salmonella from dried-out flakes or puffs? Doesn’t it die off in a dry environment? Had to be the “honey” they used, is all I can figure. Nasty stuff. Don’t buy Kellogg’s. SJW company. Yuck. Where’s the photo of the little girl with the scrunched-up nose on this post? I always know it’s gonna be a good one when I see her!

I added it for you. 😉

  6. Thanks MJA!! Oh, and RE: BlueToof above…wasn’t constipation one of the diseases that the Kellogg Clinic/Spa was supposed to treat? Trying to remember all the crazy stuff from that Mathew Broderick movie “Road to Wellville”. I remember being freaked out by the paraphernalia kept by Broderick in a suitcase under his bed. That was pretty weird. BTW,salmonella can live for quite a while on supposedly “dry” materials. But it’s killed by irradiation. Where can I buy me a portable irradiation kit?
