John Harwood: GOP’s ‘Core Appeal’ To White People Is Opposing ‘Economic Changes’

DC: CNBC reporter and MSNBC commentator John Harwood accused President Trump on Saturday of leading a party of white people who oppose economic change.

Trump is “leading a party whose core appeal right now is to white people about resisting cultural and economic changes in the country,” Harwood told MSNBC anchor Alex Witt. “The core impulse in [the Republican] party right now is to prevent the United States from becoming more diverse and having more nonwhite people in the country.”

Harwood was commenting on immigration policy, claiming Trump is inflicting cruelty on non-whites. “The immigration issue has been hot in our politics for more than ten years now. But President Trump has taken it to a level that George W. Bush would find unrecognizable.

Harwood then went on to suggest Trump and Caucasian voters have no “moral sense.”

The United States’s current unemployment rate (3.8 percent) is the lowest in close to two decades, and an entire percentage point lower than when Trump took office.

MSNBC’s Witt offered no corrections to Harwood’s commentary.  WATCH

13 Comments on John Harwood: GOP’s ‘Core Appeal’ To White People Is Opposing ‘Economic Changes’

  1. Europe’s economy is flat, Venezuela is in free fall. China is struggling and the US GDP is growing at the fastest rate in more than a decade thanks to Trump’s bold economic moves that the left is denigrating and resisting.

    Who’s having trouble with change?

  2. GOPe, RINOs and allied Demtards are all uniparty swamp-dwellers.

Identifying and neutralizing them will be a big job. It won’t be easy, they are well-entrenched.

  3. Go check out where this latest white Uncle Tom lives, and I’m pretty sure he isn’t living around the brown people he is militating for. They never do.

  4. Alex “Witt offered no corrections to Harwood’s commentary.”

That’s because Witt dosen’t know shit from shinola about the economy, or much else either.

Harwood got his information from “news services.” Fake news.

  5. He calls it “resisting cultural and economic changes in the country” but I say I’m simply an individual resisting being classified as a member of a collective class that it’s OK to parasitize.

  6. They keep on pretending there is no such thing as immigration law, as if the president just rules like a king.

If they want to change the law they need to change the freaking law. Damn demagogues.
