The Power of Our Prayers are Needed

Our beloved Eugenia needs the power of our prayers for some troubling medical issues she’s encountered.

(Get well soon.

We’ll meet at that pool. Bring the bikini!!)

  1. You’ve got a rickety crew on board, sir. A fine group, but long in the tooth, smart as whips, able to express themselves, eloquently at times, slow to profanity but quite able to dish it out once pestered enough. A fine crew.

A prayer goes out to everyone aboard, but special prayers for Eugenia and Reboot.

  2. For Eugenia, Reboot, and that marine who survived Iwo Jima, who is ailing that was posted some days back:

Our father who art in Heaven…

  3. Father,

Your love is as wide as the oceans
    As deep as the sea
And as tall as the heavens.
May your spirit rise like a mightly wave and come and restore those who are ill.

You are the water of life,
    You are a fresh spring,
    You are healing rain
To all those who are in need.
    Come Lord!

    And especially for Eugenia today.

  4. O GOD, who art giver of life, of health, and of safety; We bless thy Name, that thou hast been pleased to deliver from her bodily sickness Eugenia thy servant who now desireth to return thanks unto thee in the presence of all thy people. Gracious art thou, O Lord and full of compassion to the children of men. May her heart be duly impressed with a sense of thy merciful goodness and may she devote the residue of her days to a humble, holy, and obedient walking before thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  5. We may not know you, or know your real name, but God, who knew you before He formed you in the womb, knows we pray for you. Health, hope, and happiness are my prayers for you.

  6. Nothing but good thoughts and prayers for you Eugenia! I know a group hug is out of the question, but I’m going to say a quick prayer for all of us. We deserve to know there are friends looking out for us.

  7. Eugenia, never forget that God has a plan for you and your life. Accept that thought, trust, and never fear.

When Christ was suffering on the cross, he thought of you. He won’t fail you now.

I have many prayers going up for you.

  9. Eugenia, may God bless you and give you the strength to fight the good fight.

Hang tough and when you feel weak, praise God and ask him for more faith and encouragement.

Your kitties need you! And so do we.

  10. Thank you all from the heart. I avoided another trip to the ER. You made me cry in a good way. Now to find a neurologist who doesn’t have his/her head up the butt.
