Congressman Jason Lewis Tells the Truth about Black Violence

American Thinker: The journalistic hounds at CNN have a new target, a politician whose sin is so egregious – so unthinkable – that it can hardly be spoken aloud: the recently elected congressman from Minnesota disagrees with CNN orthodoxy on race.

And now, with enthusiasm we have not seen since hordes of reporters descended on Rick Perry’s boyhood hunting grounds where they found a 30-year-old racial expletive written under a rock, CNN has set out to punish Congressman Jason Lewis.

The sins of the congressman were easy to ferret out.  They came during a stint as a talk show host in Minneapolis around six years ago.

Lewis made the fatal error of questioning whether welfare dependence is good for black people.

Per usual CNN standards, none of the genius CNN talking heads are willing to actually talk with Lewis, other than call him names and say he is a bad person and hope no one notices the difference.

Not that the folks on CNN are shy when they talk about race.  Just a few days ago, CNN host Michael Smerconish actually got into a disagreement with a black editor of the Washington Post, Karen Attiah.

Smerconish was unhappy at a recent decision for Starbucks to close its American stores and subject its 177,000 American employees to racial sensitivity training.  He thought Starbucks should have closed its coffee shops all over the world.

That was not quite good enough for the WaPo editor: she said all white people need training on how to get along with black people.  And that should take about 100 years.  MORE HERE

  1. I live in a small city where the identity politics folks are angling that high school black kids will feel more “included” if the name of the local high school is changed from the “evil” Robert E. Lee.

If they felt bad before, the kids are going to feel more like ineffectual victims after and…. ….whites? their guilt?

This is not inclusion; this is estrangement.

Identity politics is evil. ….Lady in Red

  2. I think Colin’s site at Minds.com should be daily viewing.

I have been following him for a few years now. YouTube has banned him, so Minds is one of his outlets. He is like Laura Loomer in that he is a lone voice out there trying to point to the obvious truth that is being ignored, hidden and obfuscated by the MSM.

Unfortunately, this is what happens when you speak out. Remember this, the fruits of multiculturalism coupled with identity politics equals Cultural Marxism. The pipelines leading to prisons are being built and managed by the Left. To seriously address these issues reduces their voter base.

  3. Slightly off topic: Whoopi Goldberg did us a huge favor a few days ago. In less than a minute, she succinctly defined the insanity of the left. Her diatribe should be required as part of any true conservative campaign ad. Anger, profanity, no common sense rebuttal. She boiled it down and espoused the very reason that America must reject liberalism at any cost.

    Bring the fight on.

  4. I was living in Minneapolis during the Jason Lewis reign on his radio show. I listened to him every day on the way home from work. When he got into “trouble” for speaking his mind (almost daily), he finally quit radio. I was sad, but knew he would be ok.

I wasn’t surprised to hear he was running for office and was only sad that I didn’t live in his district so I could vote for him.

He will be fine, as always. He is a plain talker and doesn’t suffer fools. I hope his fellow congressmen support him.

    God bless you, Jason.

  5. I don’t understand what 100 years of education about dealing with black people hopes to achieve. Is the solution about me taking on more black friends? I don’t get it, blacks don’t want me in their culture anymore than I want them in mine. What am I supposed to be learning when I already treat them like everyone else and simply forget about them?

  6. Brad, It doesn’t account for why that guy jumped the line. But at the end it appears he gets his point across. It seems maybe he just received his order and needed a napkin or something was missing.

Not sure. Speaken for myself, if I’m on the wrong side of shit, I’ll apologize and back up. If I’m on the right side, I’ll push it right to the end. I would need to know a lot more about that video, but if he jumped the line he needs his ass kicked. My original comment still stands.

Yea, when I was young and pretty, I worked at a shop with this old WWII vet that was an Ex Pro Fighter. Probably the toughest son of a bitch I’ve ever met. At any age. I believe when I met him he was 70 plus. Fucking guy was an animal. One morning around 8:00 he shoved a file through the meaty part of his palm. He went and got some Kim Wipes and shoved them through the wound and went back to work. I watched it happen. So I wonder over and tell him, Dude, go get that shit stitched up, I’ll cover your machine, I have some run cycle time. Classic reply.
“I ain’t no pussy boy. I’ll get it stitched up during lunch break”
Which he did. And was ten minutes late getting back from lunch. So he worked the additional 10 minutes after quitting time. To bad all those people are gone.

  9. Jason is a champion of the constitution, a bit too libertarian for my taste but listened for years in MPLS. Couldn’t vote for him because we were in a different congressional district. But I still don’t know why John Brennan hasn’t been executed for high treason yet!!
