Border Patrol Agent Saved Drowning Woman Who Jumped Off Cliff To Swim Back To Mexico

DC:

An agent associated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) saved a drowning woman who jumped off a 15-foot cliff when attempting to swim back to Mexico on Tuesday.

Officials from CBP’s Air and Marine Operations (AMO) saw a group of illegal aliens on the U.S. side of the Rio Grande River in Texas. As soon as Border Patrol was contacted by AMO, however, the group headed back toward Mexico.

While most of the individuals jumped off the cliff, one woman hesitated. She jumped into the river after deliberation, the CBP press release reported Thursday.

The group of illegal aliens did not help the woman despite the fact that she reportedly struggled to stay afloat. MORE

  1. So the other illegals were willing to let her drown. There was also a story about them abandoning a 3 year old girl and throwing rocks at BP and a pregnant illegal. Boy, we sure are getting Mexico’s best and brightest, aren’t we

  2. The compassion of the Americans and the callousness of the illegals on full display. I’m with Bad Brad, they should have arrested her and charged her with polluting a navigable waterway along with the illegal entry.
