Parents have been noticing a change in the print designs in Proctor & Gamble brand of disposable diapers, “Pampers.”
Some are accusing the company of dropping Sesame Street characters because of the over representation of males decorating the poop catchers. Other parents have become concerned that what is appearing on store shelves have been counterfeit Pampers from China.
The complaints have become numerous enough that the diaper maker has had to release a denial. Here
Didn’t they make a movie about life before disposable diapers? I believe it was called Cloth Encounters of the Turd Kind.
😉
COME ON! Why in the hell is this even being discussed? Just make the damn things white like they used to do. Piss on “marketing”! The f*cking things are DISPOSABLE! Who gives a sh!t who or what is printed on them? Although likenesses of demonrat politicians and leftists celebretards printed on the INSIDE would be cool.
now, now …. let’s join the progtard bandwagon on this …
take a stand, mommas! … NO MORE Disposables…. from now on, Cloth Diapers! wash those mustard britches out in the toilet while you flush it! just like the good old days when you changed diapers in Covered Wagons.
Save the Environment! Recycle! Give a poot, don’t pollute. … Wipers of the World, Unite! You have nothing to lose but your gag reflex!
“Mammas, don’t let your babies grow up to drop cow pies”
@RebPirate: Aw, come on. When you step out of your car in a Wal-Mart parking lot and plant your foot squarely on top of a discarded disposable diaper full of poop, wouldn’t you prefer to be looking down at a Sesame Street character smiling back at you?
Of course you would.
🙂
Adult male diapers with Bert and Ernie because the keep from shitting my pants muscle doesn’t work anymore. Who was the pitcher? My guess is the short guy. Ernie, correct?
“the company has always included a range of Sesame’s characters — male and female (although we know from research that children love the characters equally)”. What about the 71 other genders?
I’m not sure “Wipe Me Elmo” is a positive image for a toy.
@ Ann
Neither is “Suck My Elmo” 🙂
Vietvet- personally I prefer the merchandising on my baby diapers to match the toy in the happy meal from the fast food restaurant that I’m sitting in while I change my baby’s diaper on the table amongst all my fellow diners. Because a babymama gotta have standards yanno?
Why are people upset at the pictures on diapers?
It’s not like they’re going to have them framed and mounted on the wall.
Of all the time wasting “causes”. Ugh
