15. The Chinese bought Smithfield
    over a decade ago. At the time
    Smtihfield had already bought Eskay.
    As with any food that has Chinese
    company ties I am aware of, I avoid eating it. Not a racist decision
    just that I know they don’t much care how safe their consumables processing is.

17. I don’t buy anything Smithfield because it’s owned by China. Same with BarS it’s owned by Mexicans and if you go to one of their plants all that work there are Spanish speaking Mexicans.

    I have loves Smithfield Hams for over 70 years!
    My brother send me , sometimes, a German ham from Nue Brauensfel TX; Goog but Smithfield is my fav.

    Well, I have.
    And I don’t eat out, if I can help it.

    I sorta suspected that food prep is pretty much the same even in the processing stage.
    Guess the instructions will state: “Cook the Piss Out of It.”
