Koch Brothers: ‘Against Our Principles’ to End Anchor Baby Policy

Breitbart: The pro-mass immigration, GOP megadonor, billionaire Koch brothers are opposing President Trump’s plan to executively end birthright citizenship, which rewards the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens.

On Tuesday, President Trump announced that he is readying an executive order to end birthright citizenship in the U.S. The unilateral move would carry the country into the future on the issue, putting the nation more in line with similar Western countries. Currently, the U.S. and Canada are the only developed nations in the world that offer unrestricted birthright citizenship.

The children of illegal aliens are commonly known as “anchor babies,” as they anchor their illegal alien and noncitizen parents in the U.S. There are at least 4.5 million anchor babies in the country, a population that exceeds the total number of annual American births.  more here

  1. First I heard they had any PRINCIPLES!?@#$!@?^. Unless GREED is a principle!
If avarice is a principle ; they they absolutely have a great deal of PRINCIPLES!?@#!?$%^&@!

But they have been big fans of spending other peoples $ for decades. Maggie said they were swindlers 30 years ago. Actually she said they were “Charlatans” – is that word allowed here?

    If not sorry.

  3. Their phony humanitarian position is what chaps my ass. Typical of the mega-wealthy, their quest for ever more wealth never seems to be sated. Their position demonstrates their utter lack of concern for their fellow Americans and their ability to seek a better life.
I despise these aloof scum who view all of us as rubes to be dismissed. Fuck you Koch suckers!

  4. The person who sponsored the 14th Amendment clearly stated the intent of the clause:

“In fact, the sponsor of the Citizenship Clause, Senator Jacob Howard (R-MI), stated that its language “is simply declaratory of what I regard as the law of the land already,” explaining that “This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, [or] who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers.”

The House and Senate voted on the 14th Amendment based on this interpretation, and even passed it despite being vetoed by President Johnson.

It would be difficult for the Supreme Court to interpret this Amendment differently than the Congress intended since the author clearly articulated the intent.

  5. The Founding Father REALLY gave us a sublime nation.
It needs to be defended against its PARASITIC enemies that threaten it from all directions.

These guys should be exiled to Amsterdam, circa 16thC.

  6. Over my career I learned that if you give things to customers for no charge, labor or materials, in the belief it will build customer locality that practice has very limited utility accomplishing that goal. Instead if you give things away for zero cost to them they don’t value things that cost them nothing.

It’s the same with immigration. When you give citizenship resident status away for free they don’t value it. They seem to realize that if the current native citizens don’t value their culture and their way of governing themselves, and give it away for free, it’s nothing of value. So why should they care about preserving it.

Free citizenship status to children of illegals and children born within our borders to citizens of other countries that may have been here legally on a tourist visa only long enough to birth a child should have never been permitted, and should be ended.

Our principles are to highly value US citizenship. And know it should not be given away for free – to people who will only value it according to what it cost them to gain it. Nothing. Zip. Zero. Screw the Kochbros, Paul Ryan, others who think the way they do & the horse they rode in on.
