  2. Spartans were all a bunch of fags, but they were pretty bad-ass (at least until they ran up against the Theban fags, Epaminondas and Pelopidas).

  3. The Battle of the Bulge couldn’t happen today.

    America doesn’t have the stomach to take mass casualties, particularly in a single battle.

    Or so the Chinese seem to be thinking and preparing as a battle strategy against the US in any future conflict, probably Russia and a few others as well.

    They’re probably right, better Red than Dead (or Muslim or whatever) will probably dominate American thinking in any upcoming major war.

    We don’t have the will to win, and certainly not the unified public thinking, that would be necessary to win if we were looking at hundreds of thousands of dead if we didn’t just give up and give the enemy whatever they wanted.

  4. here in the uk for the last couple of weeks a tv series following 40 new paratroop regiment recruits only 17 passed and got the red beret , the last test, teams of eight carried a 200LB steel stretcher for 5 miles over roads and rough terrain ,I felt their pain , I doubt there is a women in the world would last the first few days
