Breitbart: Tuesday on KFGO’s “News & Views,” House Agriculture Committee chairman Rep. Collin Peterson (D-MN) called on his Democratic colleagues to give President Donald Trump funding for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Peterson said, “The president got himself backed into a corner here you know, and I don’t know how he gets out of what’s going on. And our side, you know Nancy has got herself backed into a corner. You know I don’t know. I just don’t know how you get out of this.”
He added, “I told them the other day, I am a committee chairman, so I’m in the room with other leadership. I told them, ‘You guys are making a mistake. Give Trump the money.”
He continued, “I’d give him the whole thing that he wants and put strings on it so you make sure he puts the wall where it needs to be. Why are we fighting over this? We’re going to build that wall anyway, at some time.”
He added, “They don’t want to give them a win and Nancy doesn’t want to give him a win.” more
…nancy will be along after bit to cut your head off, and you’ll never even know she did it…no non-conformity, no common sense, and no facts allowed, just march in lockstep and throw that arm WAY out when you salute there, guy, they’ll TELL you what to think…
Getting the democrats out of lock step would be a great accomplishment. Their discipline to keep a united front over the years has been their big advantage. (Along with the republicans back stabbing each other repeatedly).
The money isn’t the issue (government spends something like 4 1/2 trillion a year). neither is the wall and border security.
The issue is giving Trump something he wants, something he campaigned on and that was a primary reason for his win.
That means the left has no intention of letting the conservative half of the country that elected Trump have any say so in the country and how it is run.
President Trump has really backed him self into a corner advocating for law and order. Dum Rep. Peterson just fell off the hay wagon.
He only said what mommy Nanci told him.
They want Trump to cave so bad they are willing to destroy any unity they normally have.
Trump needs to hang tough and allow them to keep disintegrating, Pelosi has gambled everything on him giving in.
I think Trump has found a way to fracture what is ordinarily their immovable front.
Minnesota will have a new congressperson soon enough!

Speaking of the wall. My neighbors across the street are getting new siding installed. The white owner shows up in his 60k$ f250 with ladders, about 15mins later a van pulls up, 12-20 border hoppers jump out and run up the driveway, the van speeds off and the owner hands out hard hats, then leaves.
My neighbors aint struggling like the McFartus family, they have 2 benz’s, 2 rovers and a volvo. The husband is a criminal hedge fund guy. These pricks can afford good ol’ American workers. Cheap fuckers. rant over.

Those aren’t “non-issues” — along with Princess Pelosi’s “How DARE you!?” But the deal breaker is it’s permanence — iIt’s being the opposite of a secret ink pen, or a non-archived phone. You can’t pass this year’s amnesty, and have a “wall” disappear. You can’t let a “deadline” expire — because the “other side” are meanies — and have a “wall” disappear. You can’t have a loyal Party pharisee declare that the Constitution now, and always has, said that the “wall” does not exist. Nor can you rescind it in the middle of the night — without the public noticing (not that they’ll do anything — you can demolish an airport in the middle of the night, if you’re a Party member in Good standing — but you can’t get the “news” to convince them it never happened). The “wall” is one more Kavanaugh — and Nancy’s “virtue” has been “violated”.
