Yea, riiight. That description is exactly how all my white conservative friends behave. I’m surprised it took this long to catch them, they’ve been openly beating black gays on their turf in sub zero weather with MAGA hats and rope at 1am while claiming MAGA Country since the Orange Man was elected.

If you constantly have to lie to make your enemy look bad, you are paying them a great compliment.
Nothing about the claimed attack makes sense.
Among other things, it’s unlikely that “homophobic” white supremacist types are watching Empire in the first place, much less able to identify its individual actors if they are spotted in public and even much more less that they would know they’d know when and where he would be when so that they could show up all prepared to attack with bleach and a rope at hand.
BTW, I read that the police were analyzing the “chemical” used to attack him, wonder what it turned out to be? Anyone know? (it wouldn’t take more than a very short time to identify it.)

Even if this is ridiculous lie is definitively debunked the retraction will never have anywhere near the 3,520,000 Google mentions the original story has. Time to start suing and prosecuting these liars and anyone that slanders someone. That is the only way this is ever going to stop.
The penalty for perpetrating a fake hate crime to stoke animus should be the same as the crime.

@Anonymous – the problem is that he is slandering a general, self-identified population (Trump supporters), but no individual can claim loss from the slander.

The Very Revrum Al Sharpton has demanded that President Donald J. Trump denounce this attack by his “MAGA Supporters” and this puts this far enough into Tawana Browley Country to make it completely bogus. Also, Kalamity Harris has characterized this as “a modern day lynching.” What a wonderful thing for a former Prosecutor and Attorney General to get behind before the all the facts were known. Is this what a gay dog whistle sounds like?

Couple of thing:
1) Why is it that a member of the religion of peace can scream aluhar Akbar while killing a number of people and we are not supposed to jump to conclusions, but any unsubstantiated report of something being done by a white Trump supporter is proof that all white people are evil?
2) Assuming for a second that he was attacked as the reports say. Why is it a hate crime if it was done by white Trump supporters but nothing special if it was done by black street criminals? I’d be willing to bet that black gangbangers aren’t big fans of gays, either. And as has been pointed out, who is going to be prepared to commit a racially motivated hate crime on the off chance that they would meet a gay Hollywood actor on the streets of Chicago at 2 AM in sub zero temperatures?
