  1. I think I know how I can crash their software. A Donald Trump/Nancy Pelosi mashup would probably do it. Better yet, Maxine Waters and Mitch McConnell. The mind reels at all the possibilities.

Sounds like a new IOTWR contest to me.

  2. @No Blushes (at 6:31 am): I really (honestly, really!) appreciate your taking the time to suggest these mashups to me, but you have to realize you’re talking to a child of the 1950’s here. Most of the music of today is as alien to me as music of the 1930’s or 1940’s would be to you, unless you are a music history buff or something like that. That doesn’t make it bad, just different. Each generation has its own culture and music. I remember trying to get my parents to understand rock ‘n’ roll, to no avail.

Again, thank you on behalf of an old music dinosaur – me.

    🙂

  3. Viet, Was schooled in the late 60’s and 70’s stage band. The teacher was old schooled and very talented training that way. Your are no old music dinosaur, just a well educated and appreciative musical enlighten being.
My Thanks to have met you.

  4. I’m really surprised celebs haven’t sued for copyright infringement. I imagine the deep fake is available as shareware, but somebody is going to face a lawsuit when the person doing the mashing is identified.

I’d like to see Liz Warren’s head on Wes Studi’s Geronimo or Bob Mueller as Inspector Clouseau or George Soro’s as Dr. Strangelove (which isn’t much of a stretch).

  5. Digital manipulation of images to affect interpretation of events was the premise of Michael Crichton’s 1992 novel, Rising Sun. Well ahead of its time.

M.C. must have anticipated videos like this one, and a curious fake birth certificate that that was used in an attempt to hide the truth a few years ago.
