High School History Book Teaches Kids That ‘Mentally Unstable’ Trump and His Supporters are Racists

The Advanced Placement textbook is published by Pearson Education and titled, “By the People: A History of the United States.”

The final section of the book, titled, “The Angry Election of 2016,” reads like something straight out of the DNC, or a Daily Kos comment section.

“Most thought that Trump was too extreme a candidate to win the nomination, but his extremism, his anti-establishment rhetoric, and, some said, his not very hidden racism connected with a significant number of primary voters,” the textbook tells the impressionable students.

It goes on to describe the president’s supporters as “mostly older, often rural or suburban, and overwhelmingly white.”

It gets worse.

“Clinton’s supporters feared that the election had been determined by people who were afraid of a rapidly developing ethnic diversity of the country, discomfort with their candidate’s gender and nostalgia for an earlier time in the nation’s history,” the textbook reads. “They also worried about the mental stability of the president-elect and the anger that he and his supporters brought to the nation.”

  1. And I thought that Howard Zinn and his historical revisionism was dead. Another reason I hate Howard Zinn was him going to N. Vietnam in the late 60’s or early 70’s with one of the Berrigan brothers to praise the communists. I hate the left. The real racists and liars have always been and always will be on the left.

  5. …does the concept of libel exist in textbooks? Do White people and/or Trump supporters as a group have standing to sue the textbook publisher for this as we are also smeared, or does it have to the be the President? Is he suing them for libel, and if not, WHY not?

    This is not going to stop unless there are consequences…

Vladimir Lenin summed it up rather succinctly with these two quotes: “Give me just one generation of youth, and I will transform the whole world.” And, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seeds that I have sown will never be uprooted.” I don’t know about the whole world, but Leftist have been transforming this country for decades with several generations of young Americans. It shows in their voting patterns. How else do idiots like Bernie and Beto and the Buttplugger get so much support from young voters? This is all part of the Fundamental Transformation that began when the Leftist began taking over the local school systems and universities in the 1970s and 1980s.

  11. I love the part about all the anger Trump brought. The anger of james hodgkinson shooting up the republican baseball practice, the anger of the Occupy/Antifa, the anger of Black Lives Matter, the anger of the antisemites, the anger of the women’s marches….

    Well just never mind all of that.

    …at the end of Genesis, Joseph the Son of Israel had saved all Egypt, was seated at the right hand of a grateful Pharaoh who had made him second in charge in all Egypt, and had invited all his people to live with them.

    …then, a new Pharaoh, a new day, the very next book of the Bible, and just like THAT…everybody enslaved.

    And it took direct action by God to get them out.

    …you are NEVER more than a single generation from slavery.

  17. Hold on a minute. If you click More, you will go the American Greatness site. It mentions that the textbook publishers stated that they presented both sides of the 2016 election. If that is true, we are getting only one side in the snippet above. Maybe the Trump side was included, in which case we would have read some of the arguments that were made against Hillary Clinton.

    We don’t know until someone either finds that in the textbook or concludes it doesn’t exist. In the latter case, we can rightfully condemn the publisher, Pearson. If the Trump side view is presented, we should call off the attack.

  20. Since the American people support the American government selling titles (like Duke and Princess) in Hate Whitey Studies, what’s wrong with giving the best and brightest (it is a text for the advanced placement future betters, after all) the same canon they’ll need to memorize for their en-titling?
