An Ozaukee County judge found the state Elections Commission and three of its members in contempt of court Monday, saying they had flouted his December order to remove thousands of people from Wisconsin’s voter rolls.
“I can’t be any clearer than this,” Judge Paul Malloy said. “They need to follow my order.”
Hours later, the state Supreme Court ruled it would not get involved in the case for now, leaving it to a Madison-based appeals court to handle. That decision gave liberals hope they could stop the voter purge.
Malloy ruled the commission must pay $50 a day until it starts taking people off the rolls. In addition, he fined the three Democrats on the commission who have fought taking people off the rolls — Ann Jacobs, Julie Glancey and Mark Thomsen — $250 a day each. More
If they don’t do it in one day, someone better be on their backs until it’s done! They will stall until it’s too late. Don’t let them!!!
If they delay and avoid purging the rolls, I wonder if they’ll ever actually pay any fines?
They are saving the voting rights of the dead impaired.
It is very traditional, the dead have always voted for the Democrat of their choice.
The margin in Wisconsin was about 30,000 votes in 2016. The dems get to cast even a portion of those 200,000 and the state will go from light red to dark blue in November.
The Judge should have made the fine $ .50 cents per day per unpurged vote per day and $2.50 per day for each unpurged vote for the three obstructionist commission members. Bet that would speed the process.
Found in contempt?? Contempt?! They are perpetrating election fraud for crying out loud! There is no other explanation for not purging the rolls. None. What the hell?
What’s the big deal? Just put them in the trunk of a car and pull them back out come election night.
Call Wa state. They’ll tell ya how to do it.
