  1. do you realize how huge this is??? …
“Additionally, all university retirement contributions to active employees will be temporarily suspended.”

… no ‘university’ ‘contributions’ means that current (active) employees will be funding their own retirement plans …. what a concept!

why, if this catches on maybe even the taxpayers will no longer have the burden of funding teacher’s pensions! ….. oh, the beauty of unshackling that yolk!

  2. “The Investment Office manages Lehigh’s Endowment, which at approximately $1.4 billion is the University’s largest tangible asset.”
    (www1.lehigh.edu/investment/)

That’s the “largest.” So there must be others.
The “deficit” of $40 Million represents 2.8% of THAT endowment.
What does it represent of ALL endowments?

More “boo-hoo-hoo ing” while fucking the weakest.
    Greasy, greedy hypocrites.

  3. Lehigh is a “private” university so only part of it is funded by taxpayers. I’ll celebrate when universities that are fully funded by taxpayers get the plug pulled from under them. As far as I know their faculty is still getting full salary and benefits.

  4. I hope Dr. Michael Behe survives the cuts. He is anathema, a non-person, a religious nut, to most of the other biology so-called scientists at that school.

But he is the main guy when it comes to ID. His books are outstanding. I recommend them.
