More than 10,000 religious organizations received financial aid through the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for a total of at least $3 billion, according to an analysis by The Guardian.

The recipients range from individual houses of worship to schools to ministries, including that of televangelist Jim Bakker, who was imprisoned in the 1990s after being convicted of mail and wire fraud.

  1. Bakker resigned from the ministry over a cover-up of hush money to church secretary Jessica Hahn. Subsequent revelations of accounting fraud brought about felony charges, conviction, imprisonment, and divorce.
Swaggart frequented a Prostitute, was humiliated and shamed for his lack of morality.
Both seem to have been seduced by the power and the fame.
Both fell from Grace in the 1980’s.
Bill Clinton’s sexual relationship and immorality took place between 1995 and 1997 and came to light in 1998. He too fell from Grace.
Clinton left office with high approval ratings, he was forgiven by the majority of our Nation.
Bakker and Swaggart have been forgiven by many who attend and support their respective religious institutions

I’m no Pastor, but I too have fallen from Grace (I too have been forgiven by the Grace of God).

What I did not read was how much money went to Muslims, Mormons, 7th day Adventists, Church of Scientology, Satanists and other false cult religions?
