If, indeed, 760 million have been infected at some point during the outbreak and the number of confirmed deaths is about 1 million, the infection fatality rate is only 0.13%.
That’s a little more than one-tenth of 1%, which the WHO says is the rate for the seasonal flu.

We see 36,788 newly reported infections and only 378 “claimed” C-19 deaths.
That’s a 1.0275% chance of dying IF infected.
That’s a 0.00011052631578947369% chance of dying from the C-19 in the USA population of 342 Million.
This virus has been used as a very effective control tool by the ChiCom sympathetic, Commie-Loving Party of Socialists and Anarchists!
The lap dog media sensationalizes the infection and fatality rates to achieve an agenda and then go ballistic when President Trump beats them at their own game by sensationalizing his own recovery. President Trump knows media better than they know themselves.
Regardless of politics and everything I can’t get over so many of my friends living in abject fear of the virus. I can quote numbers all over the place, and their only response is ‘but…’ But we need more data. Wrong, we have troves of data, and it all points to immediate reopening. But if everyone wore their mask for 2 weeks. Wrong, it would have zero effect. And ignoring the damage they are supporting. It is painful, and I feel helpless.
This likely needs to become a criminal investigation. I can understand that mistakes and errors can be made early in the process however too much verified information was out there that showed this virus to be, at worst, a bad flu on the scale of 2018/2019 (or maybe the year before). It was there, it was ignored and any professional that tried to bring forward was attacked by the so-called experts in CDC/WHO/Govt as well as the media who had hired their own “experts” whose only qualification seemed to be just how apocalyptic they could describe this virus. Heads need to roll, a lot of them.

That 0.13% doesn’t represent the median age of fatality which is 78 years old. 78 years old is the life expectancy in the USA. Toss out numbers that are beyond life expectancy that are “out of range,” and the real fatality rate is closer to 0.00005%. It’s all bullshit.

People still believe that this is a deadly plague that threatens the very existence of mankind. They are terrified to leave their houses. They think they will get infected, infect everyone in their household, and they will all die. Nothing will convince these people otherwise.

and nobody’s mentioned that at least 75% of the dead are due to medical malpractice. How physicians at the hospitals treated people with mild cases of pneumonia was criminal.

New calculations suggest the fatality rate is roughly equal to the flu? But how can you even compare the two, since before Covid-1984, nobody who died from a heart attack, cancer, or motorcycle accident was ever listed as a “flu-related death”.
