Two Michigan state senators ask for an election audit before results are certified

Just The News: Michigan state Senators Lana Theis and Tom Barrett, in a letter to Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, called for an audit of the 2020 general election to be carried out before the election results are certified.

“It is our responsibility, as elected public servants, to assure the people of Michigan of the process’s integrity through complete transparency and the faithful investigation of any allegations of wrongdoing, fraud, or abuse,” the two Republican senators wrote in their letter to Benson, who is a Democrat.

The senators noted that there are affidavits that support the allegations listed in their letter. more here

  1. Two out of thirty eight?

That is not a number that will have to be reckoned with by the PTB unless a good number of others join in as well.

Wonder why so few of them have signed on to this?

  2. Audits are nothing but fixes for the fix. Watch Georgia. Doug Collins’ strongly-worded letter aside, nobody in the state GOP side wants to admit they got rolled, and none of the state Dems want to admit they cheated. So they’ll close ranks and cover each other’s asses.
