The World Economic Forum published two articles on its website which explored how people could be conditioned to get used to the idea of eating weeds, bugs and drinking sewage water in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
Yes, really.
“Finding new plant-based foods is becoming increasingly urgent with the world’s population forecast to grow by two billion in the next 30 years,” states an article authored by Douglas Broom published on the official WEF website
“While farming animals for meat generates 14.5% of total global greenhouse emissions, weeds capture carbon from the atmosphere and can therefore help to control climate change.”
According to Broom, “Weeds can be nutritious and tasty” and are easy to grow. More
Geez, poor guy. No wonder he hasn’t been posting anything.
There is no need to eat weeds and bugs when nature provides delicious alternatives. I shot three deer this past weekend and they are in my freezer.
F these idiots.
With his obvious mental decline I’m sure Joe will soon take up eating those items and who knows what else with out any prodding.
A couple of months ago I noticed on the California Fish and Wildlife website (used to be called California Fish and GAME!) they were pushing a “Zoom” class on foraging for plants to eat. I prefer hunting delicious and nutritious wild pigs who forage for plants and other stuff.
I’m telling ya, weeds, bugs, and sewage are the farthest thing from my menu. Tonight for example, fresh troll caught Alaskan King, grilled red pepper, some brown rice mixture, and awesome scorched Brussels Sprouts. Bill Gates will never get me drinking shit water!
I’m a prophet. I’ve been telling liberals to eat shit for years now.
Soooo… the, “elites” 🙄 … WANT to be turned into Soylent Green?
That’s what I’M reading. 😡
This environmentalist just posted a great Twitter thread a couple of days ago (he also wrote a book). The world currently produces a 25% surplus of food, according to the UN. I don’t think we need to consider drastic things like eating insects and garbage.

C’mon now, don’t be so queasy. Every time you eat a hot dog you will ingest a certain amount of rat hair. It’s all perfectly legal and allowed by the guvmint. Tomato paste or sauce? Full of bug parts. How about a nice crispy apple? Got maggots in it.
Honestly though, I will not be going to Bob’s Bug Burgers anytime, ever.
The kids and I have eaten seven lbs of True Cod and about five lbs of deer and elk since Friday. With either rice, potatoes or egg noodles and green beans this week. The cod went into fettuccine Alfredo one night and burritos another. The only bugs we eat around here are Dungeness or king crabs and lobsters.
JD, and those are good bugs.
Darn, I had my heart set on lab-grown chicken.
Answerman Cooper.
When i first read about that my mind flashed to buying worm bait.
It’s not about helping starving people, it’s just to screw all people (except the elites). We (as in the west) donate and drop tons of food each year to sacks of shit nations and what happens? The tribal armies snag the shipments and feed themselves. But elites don’t give a shit about that.
” The tribal armies snag the shipments”
I watched a PBS special some years ago where one of these relief programs hired some mercs to combat the local crime lords from stealing all the food. The Mercs killed the hell out of them, and that was frowned upon. Go figure. There’s no wining that game.
F¥ck em and feed em humpies.
Well in the crime lords’ defense, they did let the locals have the leftover hillary clinton campaign t shirts.
oh, come on … any good survivalist (or ‘naturalist’, if you will) will tell you dandelion greens can go great in a salad
… & the flowers make a decent wine too
Ewell Gibbons wasn’t all crazy, ya know
After being blasted with Radiation for 6 weeks in the neck. I no longer can taste much, and have no saliva glands. I now consider this an advantage. I just look at the protein content printed on the bug.
Are they giving McD’s ideas on increasing their profit margin? McWeed or McBug sandwich with a nice iced garbage truck juice drink.
We used to collect McDonald’s used oil from their fries for bio fuel. Some of it was so bad the chemist that was working with us said it was one molecule away from being plastic, because they didn’t change it often enough. We gave them up pretty soon when we saw what it took to crack, (process) the glycerin out of it making it into fuel. Good times.
This World Economic Forum, whatever the fork that is, need to set a good example and switch over to that diet right away.
I know there are edible weeds but ” weeds capture carbon from the atmosphere and can therefore help to control climate change” if they are doing that much to save the planet, should we be eating them? Better stick to fat hogs and steers.
Unnecessary foraging is not allowed in California. Remain sheltered in place and an Essential Hero Worker will deliver your food ration to you.
Cows eat grass. We eat cows. Isn’t the food chain wonderful?
Chickens eat bugs we eat the chickens
Every animal, either wild or domestic, has eaten grain that has been passed through another animal. Enjoy your breakfast.
COWGIRL
63 years ago duck hunting near Calistoga (NoCal) a dog bumped into a wild Sow and her litter. She charged, last thing she ever did. Her meat was stringy but good taste; once you spit out the buck shot!
Old I am
Joe Six-pack is wearing masks, so why not make him eat poop? I’ve lost patience of obedient fools.
