They want America to use our laws and military to protect their “emerging markets” adventurism and perfect security interests. Reinstitute the EXIM bank to provide government guarantees for that adventurism. Remove tariffs so American companies that don’t benefit from using slave labor must compete with those that do.
The US Chamber of Commerce only represents a couple of narrow C-suite interests and hostile foreign governments.

To most of the national {and many local} public figures the concept of patriotism and love of country is an arcane idea. It’s only used on occasion in a cynical fashion by both parties when they seek to garner support for an issue they’re pushing.
