A zoo in China has reportedly tried to pass off a dog as a lion, and one customer was not impressed with their explanation.
A golden retriever pup was seen sitting at the Yuanjiashan Zoo in Xichang, Sichuan, though the cage was intended for an African lion and footage of the ordeal began circulating on social media, the South China Morning Post reported.
The video was shared to social media by a man only identified as Tang.
“At first, we thought we had gone to the wrong place. But after walking around the cage, we realised it is where the lion should be housed,” Tang reportedly said in the video.

So I called the number one day to see what he would say, but I got the Operator instead. She said, “I’m sorry, but he can’t come to the phone. He’s on another lion”.
