  1. Bravo, Fur!

(This is making me very sad, indeed. There are few things this world has for me, but Coke-a-Cola is one of them. Nothing like the ritual of opening an ice-cold Coke-a-Cola and pouring it over an ice-cold glass filled with ice-cold ice. Then that skin of frozen Coke-a-Cola forms on top of the ice-cold ice. That first looonnng draught of ice-cold Coke-a-Cola quences like nothing else. My eyes tear up and the sting of the soda makes its way over my tongue and down the inside of my throat. Eyes closed, I cannot think of another single thing that quenches my thirst like nearly-frozen Coke-a-Cola. It’s the real thing. Now I am asked to give it up. Man! Why can’t they just stick to making Coke-A-Cola? Rats.)

  2. They changed their formula a couple years ago, which is why I hate drinking it.
Looks like I don’t have to drink it all, now. lol
I know Pepsi was balls-deep in 0bama, but I don’t remeber them being as loudly insulting as Coke is now.
    Anybody?

  3. Easy for me. I haven’t done any colas for a while now. The carbonation alone causes me problems.

Guess I’ll double-secret boycott them now.

I have boycotted Levi’s for about a decade now.

They are anti-NRA. That’s enough for me. You’re outta here ya son’s of bitches!

  4. “The carbonation alone causes me problems.” same here.

Oh, and I don’t wear levis because they make jeans for 17 year old boys and try to sell them as women’s jeans. lol. They always fit me super wrong. I had ONE pair in my life.

    [of levis. not balls lol]

  5. Croak-a-cola

Here in California we have Shasta soda brand in lots of flavors. It will do until I find it’s gone woke as well. Then, just water.

If air goes woke, I’m done…I’ll stop breathing.

  6. Some time ago, I was put on a salt-free diet. ugh. After a while, the taste buds started working again.
Coke, Pepsi, et all are loaded with salt, and that’s why a “flat” soda doesn’t quench your thirst. The carbonation tricks you into thinking you won’t be thirsty afterwards. HA.
I had to give up canned soup, lots of snacks, all because of the salt content make me want to gag.

  7. I’m with Abby and Heatsync, Coke is my one bad habit.

The other habits are all good ones.

I’ll try RC. I know where they sell some. But replicating the delicate balance Coke has is gonna’ be tough.

Unless…… Mexican Coke is exempt from this bull crap, right?

  8. I went Soda Stream. It is supposed to be cheaper per drink using their refill systems. I have a CO2 tank for refilling paintball tanks and it works refilling sodastream tanks.

  9. Just so ya know…I’m not addicted to Coke-a-Cola. I drink fewer than about 8 of them a year. It’s my “break glass in emergency” drink for when I’m totally dehydrated and know only a Coke-a-Cola will slake that kind of thirst. Now…what?

  10. Coke goes woke and I don’t think Pepsi is any better.
Didn’t they shovel crap tons of dollars to BLM?
Looks like water, the way God intended, will be my drink of choice,(that and the occasional glass of wine).

  11. Stopped drinking Woke a Cola after I saw what it does to heavily tarnished brass. It’s hard to find RC Cola up here, although I do remember you could redeem a bunch of their bottle caps for free cases.

  12. Don’t drink coke, pepsi or any carbonated soft drink – EXCEPT an occasional Canada Dry Diet Ginger Ale. If Canada Dry goes woke, well then water it is exclusively – which it should be anyway. Not including my adult beverages in this statement. They get a pass anytime I want one.

  14. @MJA: ““The carbonation alone causes me problems.” same here.”

the carbonation causes me big problems.
Step back for a moment and look at it-
CO2 has been declared a toxic substance by the EPA.
And they put it in soda pop.
They don’t really talk about that, though, do they?
madison avenue at its finest, there.
I want CO2 to be declared as an ingredient on the soda containers, accompanied by a statement, similar to those on tobacco products, saying it is a known toxin.
I know that they’ll say it isn’t an ‘ingredient,’ and in that event, it should then be declared as a content, with an appropriate warning label.
Somehow that got in their can, and they need to acknowledge that.
They put it in there, it is their baby.
CO2 is either a poison or it isn’t, and it is in soda.
I don’t consume the shit, but they need to come clean about this.
