Going maskless about 98 percent of the time since this cluster fuck started. If I could have caught the flu I would have by now.
It seems to me that FEAR feeds the virus. The most fearful people I know are the ones that know soooo many people that had it and died or are still suffering, etcetera. And I have lived as free as possible, gone everywhere maskless, and have been fine and actually have not encountered any really sick people. It’s perplexing.
I have one friend, who is actually a conservative in every other way, who has bought into this hook, line, and sinker. She is constantly sending me texts about mutual friends who have died of the ‘rona, but the thing is, I don’t really know what they died of. We are all in our 60s or older.
What if I said I could isolate you in a 10 x 10 room, where you could live out your life with a 100% chance of not contracting Covid? Would choose this, or the 99% chance that you won’t die from Covid if you just go live outside, in the real world, with other people? It may sound stupid, but it seems there are a lot of people who could take the 100%. How sad.
