A new study conducted by MIT scientists and released this week reveals that the six foot social distancing and limited occupancy guidelines made law in most of the civilized world have done little to slow the spread of COVID-19, and suggests the only way to reduce the spread of COVID-19 is to limit exposure to highly populated areas and areas where people are physically exerting themselves, such as gyms, or areas where people are singing or speaking, such as churches.
The study reveals that the social distancing guidelines employed throughout much of the world for over a year have done nothing to limit the spread of COVID-19, suggesting that the adaption of the guidelines did not stop the spread of the of the China-originated virus, and it can only be slowed with the employment of severe lockdowns. Paradoxically, states and cities that have engaged in severe lockdowns have seen the largest spikes of COVID-19.
The only way to deal with covid effectively without creating more serious social problems is to just let it run its course until it burns itself out.
The same as with the far more deadly Spanish Flu a century ago.

And it was about destroying Trump and his economy. I knew social distancing was a farce along with masks and the overreacting of cleaning everything back then. Now we are hearing different. Heard on the news that you don’t have to sanitize everything. But we still have sheeple who still obey and pray to their government lords. Not one ounce of critical thinking on their own.
If they would have let it run it course EARLY then we would be done by now and the variants would not be such an issue.

I have to confess: I do like the 6 foot rule when I’m on line in a store. I’ve always hated strange people breathing on my neck.
Is there some sort of new law related to mask wearing on planes? It seemed a bit more urgent yesterday. Although nobody cared in the crowded airport, crowded airplane, crowded shuttle bus – but the flight attendants were a bit uptight about it.

Those things are pointless if you are assuming that they were intended to control a disease.
Those things are not pointless when you realizes that they are to get people accustomed to living lives as dictated by their overlords.
Don’t forget that even with the”vaccine,” you still have to do all of those things because of the 2,397 variants that are popping up. We will still be doing all of those things two years from now.

Inslee’s threatening to roll back King and Snohomish counties back to Phase 2 (25% occupancy for restaurants) because of a spike in COVID cases I guess.

@Joe6Pak Yup. All that’s needed now is Inslee’s signature. They put something in the text that makes it tougher get a referendum to overturn it too-so it’ll likely end up in court.
Plus. I saw something that they are going to increase the gas tax too by like 5 cents a gallon…fer ye ol climate change.
