I clocked the dog from start point to finish line, he did it in 12 seconds. But he (she?) was clearly slowing down at the end once he caught up with the leader
Usain Bolt, with a running start, can do 100 meters in just under nine seconds. Looks like the dog at full gallop was doing at least that
Doing the math, 100 meters in 9 seconds comes out to 25 MPH. Greyhounds, the fastest dog can do 45 MPH … so looks like Usain loses out
