NBC News apparently found an expert answer to what happens if a 4G modem is discovered in voting equipment.
“Once you add that modem, you are de-certifying it … It (the election) is no longer federally certified."

You mean mire quickly relayed to the fraudsters. If the results were relayed quickly to the public, we wouldn’t have counting shut down until morning and waiting for days or weeks for the election to be “fixed”.
We used to get correct results by midnight before the internet. Get the internet out of our elections.

What about a usb port with a wireless adapter plugged in it??? Voting machines should not be based around system boards that were designed for internet access. Its too easy to quickly modify. People making decisions to purchase them don’t have the technical back ground to see hidden issues.

Don’t know about anyone else, but I’m more than willing to wait a month or two to get the results if it means I can fully trust them.

A port can be hardware secured such that it cannot be accessed by anyone without using passwords that leave a record of exactly who did it and what was done by them during the access.
This should be an obvious requirement for voting and other high security machines.
