Shake Shack now requires Vaccine For Customers – IOTW Report

Shake Shack now requires Vaccine For Customers

That’s funny, because now I require Shake Shack employees to show me their police records.

I’m not a scientist, but I know how to read data and what I see is that this is a crisis of people who have not been vaccinated, and I feel strong responsibility, on our part as business leaders, to take care of our team and our guests, and that’s what we’re doing.”

He just didn’t read the part of the data that says 98% survival rate.
Oh, and the other part that says you can still catch it even if you’re ‘vaccinated’.
[Plus- Cases are not the same as deaths.]
BTW, why does Shake Shack’s french fries taste like they’ve been fried in fish slurry?
Maybe dude should work on their food quality and stay off TV.

  1. When I drove to CA a couple of weeks ago I stopped in Reno for dinner. Both KFC and McDonalds had drive-thru but no walk-in, employee shortage. I needed a break, found a casino restaurant (with indoor smoking!)

Tried Shake Shack for the first time 3 weeks ago. $18 for a burger, fries and shake, comparable to any other fast food place. No plans to return – and especially now.

Probably canola oil. I avoid that stuff. And now I avoid the Vax Shack.

  3. LCD, I was on foot and the Wendy’s only had their drive-thru open.
    I wanted a breakfast sandwich.
An employee was out front SMOKING!
I asked if he would serve me?
He said he would ask his manager and never came back.
Asshole has time to smoke but not serve me…fuck you!
    I went to McDonald’s…

  4. Racists. Anybody this concerned just has to have been exposed to the data validating that African Americans have very lox rates of Covid vaccination. This is straight up saying to blacks: You are not welcome in Shake Shack.

It’s easy to play this game.

  5. I’ve been to a Shake Shack once. It was mediocre and way overpriced. I wasn’t ever going back, anyway. As long as Whataburger doesn’t pull this crap, I’m good.

  6. The McBozos in Sandpoint, Idaho was closed at 7 PM on Sunday night when I stopped there to get something to eat due to staff shortages but their drive thru was wide open and would’ve taken 20 minutes or more to get thru so I left. This is becoming more common all the time, shorter and more limited hours and poor service if any. I should pack a lunch with me but somedays I don’t. How any of these places can stay in business much longer pulling this kind of crap is going to be their problem not mine.

No pal, you don’t know how to read data. You drew a conclusion that is in no way supported by data; it has been however repeated mindlessly by deceitful Media and politicians.

But yes, you are not a scientist, they usually have IQ’s above 70.

  8. Small biz owners in my area have been notified that in the next biz meeting for the month this matter will be added to boycott Shake Shack for the discrimination and bias. These stupidly pandering types always do it to themselves. pity.

  9. Upon further review, since Mr. Meyer wants to make his burger business all about politicized medicine, maybe he should change the name from “Shake Shack” to “Hut of the Jab”.

Yeah, I went the long way around for that one.

    I’ll allow it. It’s funny.

  10. First of all, Shake Shack is in no way “fast” food; they are fairly slow about getting you your expensive, unhealthy, crappy food. Eating there once was enough for me. How about I not get the unhealthy jab AND not eat unhealthy? It’s a win/win for me.

    Talk about Fast Food…
I still can’t figure out KFC or Poppey’s.
The Chicken is right there Cooked, under a lamp, with the cash register right there. I can’t figure out how 30 seconds turns into 5 minutes per customer and a wait line.

IT IS RIGHT THERE, COOKED, With Sides pre-loaded in a styro-cup.

  13. I have tried to avoid commenting on any of this – but – really? Why don’t the do a real service to the public and show us proof of worker vaccination for Hepatitis A & B, flu, tetanus, MMR, diphtheria, and soon…. Monkey pox?? The HepA is easily food borne from food worked not washing their hands and pickers pooping in the field. Rarely does contamination come from customers! I won’t eat there anyway but let’s get real on food safety!
