She owned up to it – but you have to wonder how a 3-star general can’t tell the difference in uniforms and weapons.
Most generals don’t handle weapons much. You’ll always notice the pristine bluing on the sidearms without even slide or holster wear on the finish. And a rifle? Forget it. Those are for little people to lug around. And the combat uniforms are always clean and starched and have razor sharp creases. General officers are just politicians in uniform.
