AL.com: British Conservative lawmaker David Amess has died after being stabbed Friday during a meeting with constituents at a church in eastern England. A 25-year-old man has been arrested.
The Essex Police force said officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Leigh-on-Sea just after noon Friday. It said “a man was arrested and a knife recovered.
“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the wider public,” police said.
The force said later that a man injured in the stabbing had died. It did not release his name. The suspect is being being held on suspicion of murder, police said. more here

The “spike” in knife violence calls for new restrictions on knife purchases. Background checks and waiting periods a must. In addition, blade length and width dimensions proposed.

Am I reading it right, it took over 2 hours for the ambulance to get there? OTOH depending on where which organs were stabbed he might have bled out in 2 minutes. If he was beheaded all bets are off.
Why didn’t they publish the killer’s name?
This British citizen’s life was not important, what is important is that we keep the British citizens unable to defend themselves.
Maybe he should’ve used a pointed stick to defend himself. Or are pointed sticks considered to be lethal weapons in England as well?
On Quora yesterday, someone asked why the UK does not annex the US. Pretty much all of the answers went along the lines of “Why would we sophisticated people want to rule over a bunch of racists hicks such are Americans.”
Don’t you love how people in a traditionally mostly single race country lectures a traditionally multi-racial country about racism, especially since minorities in that traditionally single race country also riot about how they are victims of racism.
