Having lived through the daylight, in your face, stolen Washington 2004 gubernatorial election I can state with absolute certainty that the Republican establishment is in on it. Laughing, joking and backslapping their “friends across the aisle” the day after they collectively screwed the citizenry. Watched it with my own eyes.
The end result is that so conservative voters just dropped out and no longer participate that the establishment can’t even hold their own safe districts any longer.
