With a forced dichotomy and contrived premise this Saturday Night Live sketch is supposed to make Republicans doubt the soundness of their values. It doesn’t. I could give them five questions (in some cases just a word or two) to determine if a person is a republican or not. Watch

There are too many shows on today that are considered “too big to fail,” even though they should have been taken off the air years ago. While I was never a fan of the Dick Van Dyke Show (while it may have had some really great moments, much of it was pimping and preening), they knew to go before they the wore out their welcome.

If I didn’t know better, I would guess SNL was mocking the left. I do know better, so this is a classic fail
Liz Cheney is the Rachel Dolezal of the Rupublican party. Loved that. Made fun of both parties so it was ok.
I’m willing to make fun of Republicans (well, RINOS anyway) because most of the time I hate them as much as I do the Democrats, but this just wasn’t funny.
SNL tries to show Repubs are evil, and in doing so show classic irony. For lefties, look it up.
