Bloated, Angry, Arrogant Blowhard Alec Baldwin Refuses To Hand Over His Cell Phone To Police

PM-

“The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office has received a request from the Santa Fe, NM authorities requesting assistance in obtaining Alec Baldwin’s phone,” Sergeant Paul Spinella told Fox News Digital. “This request has been forwarded to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office to work out the differences in laws between NM and NY. As this is an ongoing investigation, that is all the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office can report at this time.”

When we last left off with the Alec Baldwin saga, authorities had issued a search warrant for his phone. Now this was around mid-December. It’s been nearly a month later that we’re learning the actor is refusing to cooperate with the request.

Baldwin’s civil attorney Aaron Dyer says the actor “proactively requested” police get a search warrant for the sake of his family’s protection.

It was a request for photos, location data, and text messages on the actor’s phone. The search warrant indicates that Baldwin emailed the Rust armorer about what kind of firearm to use during the film’s production.

  1. He needs to turn it over to the DOJ so the data can be destroyed and is 200% unrecoverable, they work for special democrats who are way way way above the law and can’t be questioned because it’s part of an ongoing invisible investigation, classified and other restriced things they can’t talk about.

Not getting how a search warrant protects Baldwin’s family, but OK.
At any rate, Baldwin “proactively requested” that the cops get a search warrant, which they did, so what’s Baldwin’s problem? They met his “proactive” request.
Will Baldwin unleash his un-civil attorney if he doesn’t get his way?
What’s he hiding? Can’t the cops get the info from other sources? Like the phone company? Or NSA? Or the Armorer’s phone?

NM is as “liberal” (read: totalitarian) as NY – so this is all smoke and mirrors.

  3. Didn’t they suspend Tom Brady for this?

Just a formality anyway, the records of the calls & recordings are everywhere. ECHELON surveillance net. Wikki has a quick rundown.

  4. Guns don’t kill people.
    But Alec Baldwin does.
Then our two tiered, Elitist coddling, so-called “Justice” system drags it out until the Peons are tired of hearing about it and gives him a slap on the wrist – along with extracting a lot of money from him for their efforts (not that it breaks my heart…)
Justice for some, none for those who can pay… or have dirt on highly placed Elites!

  5. This was a screw up by the Sante Fe NM authorities. Once cops focused on Baldwin as a “person of interest”, early in the investigation, they should have seized his phone on the spot. Then, once protected, get a warrant.

Case law has carved out some exceptions for warrants on items that have a “transitory” capacity, like vehicles. After a traffic stop if the cops have sufficient probable cause that the vehicle holds evidence of a crime and they can’t get consent from the driver, they can impound the vehicle, then get a warrant later. I’m pretty sure cell phones fall under this umbrella of exceptions.

  6. I always figured he would kill somebody someday because a violent temper and terminal stupidity are a really bad combination, but in the end, this will be declared “an on-set accident” and Baldwin will most likely get away with it.

  7. I can’t stand Alec Baldwin but I don’t think anyone should turn over their phone or let their car or house be searched with out a warrent. Make them do their jobs. The cops don’t mind slapping us around and putting us in jail on orders from above.

  8. Two questions: I don’t have a “smart” phone so I can’t answer the first one. If Baldwin destroys his and purchases a new one, does that destroy the evidence? And, does anyone know if the victim’s family has filed a civil suit?

  9. How proudly retarded do you have to be — how proud of how retarded you are? To claim that you understand the legal system is as honest as the electoral system? To find anything but joy? When anyone refuses to consent? To the lie? The big lie? The one lie? The same lie?

  10. He does seem to be more bloated than usual. Perhaps the stress of him killing an innocent woman has affected his menstrual cycle. As for his anger & arrogance, nothing has changed.
