Why Does Rolling Stone Spread Misinformation About Covid and Vaccines?

MauiHawaiiTheWorld: In their continuing campaign to attack anyone questioning official narratives around Covid and vaccines, Rolling Stone published a denouncement of broadcaster Joe Rogan’s recent podcast with Dr. Robert Malone with the headline – “A Menace to Public Health’: Doctors Demand Spotify Puts an End to Covid Lies on ‘Joe Rogan Experience.” The subhead (incorrectly) suggested the Spotify open letter was signed by 270 physicians and scientists.

Basically it accused Rogan and Malone of spreading misinformation about vaccine safety, ivermectin, and the theory “that “mass formation psychosis” is responsible for people believing in the efficacy of vaccines.”

Reacting to the hit piece former R.S. political commentator Matt Taibbi tweeted – “My former employers, a rock magazine once, shifting to a Tipper Gore role.” Taibbi was alluding to Al Gore’s wife attempt to censor music lyrics.

And acclaimed journalist Glenn Greenwald tweeted – “They can’t stand that anyone airs any dissent from the views they demand be treated as orthodoxy. And they become particularly enraged when the people they think are inferior and stupid have large audiences, while nobody listens to them. That’s what drives the desperation.”

The Rolling Stone article by EJ Dickson (who normally covers pop stars), featured an interview withJessica Malaty Rivera, who calls herself a“science communicator.” It reported, “Rivera was even more horrified to discover that people in her life, whom she considered to be “quite wise and discerning,” were hoodwinked by Malone’s patina of academic credibility, considering his views on the vaccine legitimate.” more here

  1. Because a career in sniffing Britney Spears panties qualifies them to command the medical choices of others.

Unless RS writers can show their license to practice Medicine, they should be removed from newstands and banned from the internet for one year. After all, this is NOT a Free Speech issue, this is a felony, practicing without a license.

  2. I came across this a few minutes ago. Just replace “political correctness” with “covid horse shit”

Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

  3. You question something you clearly know the answer to. See they also do not support the direction & choice of party leadership, you know quite well who I’m talking about. The escape from reality this party has taken has just about lost everyone, except hard core fanatics. This fockin game you wanta play with covid-19, you already lost.

  4. And these idiots judge who gets in the RnR Hall.
Yes, that influential “singer” Madonna is in.
Glory to the heavens. Where would we be without that skank?
The Rolling Stone crew are garbage people.

  5. RS got into a fierce argument with Bob Dylan a few years ago about GW. They were pushing it (and most likely still are) and Dylan was interviewed by the stooge that runs RS.

Dylan was shivering in Minnesota and told RS they were full of crap, words to that effect.

RS – started in the sixties and are stuck there.
