RIP. Thanks for the entertainment, Fred.
Always liked Remo Williams and Tremors
RIP Sir.
Gus Grissom in The Right Stuff. Great movie.
Dang, he was a good one!
Off to Perfection!
Hard to think of someone like Fred Ward ever getting old or dying.
Turns out the everyman actor was a one in a million talent.
RIP Fred Ward. Great actor, fun movies. Actors like Fred are getting scarce.
Ohhhh, that’s such a shame. I truly liked all the movies he was in. Great actor and never seemed to put himself above anyone else.
RIP and hope to see you in heaven.
Tremors was one of my favorite redneck creature feature movies. And he also did one heck of a job as Gus Grissom in The Right Stuff which is one of the best movies about NASA and the early Mercury and Gemini astronauts.
Holy crap! that guy was hilarious. That settles it… Tremors it is tonight! I call. RIP.
RIP
Enjoyed his work.
He was in a somewhat obscure Movie about going to Cuba and recovering lost
Money…Antonio Fargas (Huggy Bear) was the Villain “Florida Straits” Might
try and find it Tonight.
Let’s not forget “Southern Comfort” One of My Faves with Keith Carradine.
Ward was in ‘Escape From Alcatraz’ as one of the Anglin brothers that escaped w/ Clint Eastwood
requiescat in pace
My favorite was “Miami Blues”. Excellent movie. Even that idiot Alec Baldwin was good in it.
He was so great in “Tremors”, played that western redneck persona to perfection. Also wonderful in “The Right Stuff” as Virgil “Gus” Grissom. On a side note, my sainted fraternal granddad knew Mr. Grissom. He was from Mitchell, Indiana, about 10 miles from where gramps grew up. They were childhood buddies. All of the good ones are going to quickly these days. Enjoyed his movies.
Good actor. I actually liked “Remo Williams”.
