Clearly this woman cannot be trusted with a motor vehicle. For the hit and run, she should be behind bars.
The dumb thing was, it probably wasn’t her fault if the cyclist ran a red light, but a hit and run is a crime, so she made a non-crime into a crime, and for that she should be behind bars.
I must have missed the part where she asked about the truck that hit her car. Y’know, like is the driver okay? Is there damage to his truck that I’m responsible for since my car was obstructing his turn lane, parked in a restricted zone? Did the accident interrupt his day and make him late? Do you have contact info for him because I’d like to apologize and make sure he has my insurance info…
She should have been using her ‘political influence’ to make sure her illegal parking wasn’t going to blot the truck driver’s record or get him fired.
