Today I had lunch with my Japanese Roofer, My Italian Lawyer & My Dad.
A real sit down 3 hour lunch. Usually I get 15 min bombing down the road with finishing off the fries on my way to the next HVAC Call. It was Nice for a change.
The roofer had ZERO SHOTS & Mild Coof Possibly. (He refused to take tests as well) SMART GUY!
The Lawyer had 5 hits & was in the Hospital with Coof in May. He had also just left the doctors office hours earlier where he had gotten a seasonal flue shot. He credits the Vax with keeping him alive!!!!????
Me and Pops had the Canuckistan forced 2 and refuse to get any more. PERIOD.
Looks like the roofer was the Smartest of the group. Except he got stuck paying for lunch.
Just a fun day & story, but it was actually nice that NO ONE judged each other and respected their personal decisions.

Reminds me of a QA guy I hired once. I was in the Inspection room chewing their asses for something they missed. During the course of the ass chewing this guy kept reaching slightly behind him picking up a water bottle and occasionally taking a swig of water. Parked right next to the water bottle was a bottle of Isopropyl alcohol. I remember thinking, I wonder if I should warn him. Nah, water bottles round, alcohol bottles square nobodies that stupid. Oh yes he was. We finally had to stop laughing long enough to get him to a med clinic here in the biz park. He didn’t last much longer under our employ.

He died last year, she didn’t. They both had Covid but he got Covid pneumonia and she didn’t. It’s a sad, sad situation.
